I have used drive with my team at Sunnyside. We have shared documents, schedules and meeting agendas. It has worked well. I haven't started saving anything else in drive except what I intend to share. I had seen other people using drive to make a planner and I decided that I wanted to try to use the spreadsheet in drive. I created a calendar that I make at the beginning of each year to plug in when my student's IEPs and Evaluations are due. It is something that I can keep for myself and share with others that need to know those dates. I find drive useful and something that I will use more and more as I learn how. I will probably use it more often now that I am working with older students.
I think Drive makes a lot of sense for special ed teachers - it's a good way to share information between classroom and special ed teachers, schedule IEPs, and all sorts of other things! It can also be a good way to collect work from students and save a few trees in the process. :)
ReplyDeleteThis would be a nice way to share IEP dates with classroom teachers as well as the SpEd team!
